The Dovercourt Boys and Girls Club is adding more food options to its After School Program menu.The Club remains committed to the Government of Ontario’s After School Program Guidelines 2017/2018 including:
Decreasing childhood obesity
Increasing healthy eating
Increasing physical activity in children and youth
Reducing rate of youth violence; and
Reducing childhood poverty
Dovercourt Boys and Girls Club’s staff and volunteers will begin a food program that continues introducing snacks: healthy fruits and vegetables. Now, however, a sandwich option will be added to the menu.
With support from the Government of Ontario, Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Sport, Furlani, and Lady York Foods, children and youth will be provided twice a week with either a,

Vegetable Sandwich
